Writing prompt: a thousand words

Yeah, yeah, we know “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Well today you have exactly that, one thousand words to describe a picture. You can chose a family picture, the poster of your favourite movie, a picture of your friends, a famous artwork, a photograph of yourself, a postcard someone sent you, a cover from your favourite book or a picture of a favourite place in your memory. Try to make your reader feel what it would be like to be inside the picture as well as convey the information about what the picture is of.
