Winter Story Camp 2019

Last week State Library Victoria, with Express Media, we held our School Holiday Story Camp. Over the last two years, State Library Victoria  has delivered nine Story Camps, engaging over 500 teenagers. We worked with 27 professional writers who delivered workshops on fiction, nonfiction, poetry, performance and zine-making. Participants worked with professional creatives on prose, illustrative and performative storytelling formats, thereby developing their own narrative skills and also developed their confidence and made friends along the way.

At our Winter Story Camp, around sixty attendees participated in three days of writing workshops covering fiction, non fiction and poetry and zine-making. Here are our amazing facilitators emanating awesomeness – Caitlin McGregor, Amie Green and Maxine Beneba-Clarke.
