‘Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.’ – Groucho Marx

Wanna be in November Lit Club?

Our September Lit Club went off like a *fill in blank here*! Like a frog in a toaster? Like dirty old socks? Like a sardine milkshake? Like fireworks on New Years Eve? Like a glitter canon at a Flaming Lips concert? Don’t know! But it went off.

Discussions of our LoveOZYA book Catching Teller Crow were rich and responses were creative, thoughtful, inspired and brilliant. Thank you so much to our Lit Club leaders: imosshelf  sylvs  chelcyg   bookwithbane  lauraamabel  crobster  eyespie  ellipsis

But now it is time to start he ball rolling on a whole NEW LIT CLUB!

So – who needs a reminder of how it works? (Skip this bit if you already know!) The Lit Club blog is public, so that anyone can join in on the discussion! If you want to be added as a contributor – just comment on the blog and I will add you. During Lit Club, Inky, as in me – I know it’s weird to talk about myself in the third person! – will post a kick-off discussion thread to get the conversation started. And at the end of each club we will be giving away an Inky book pack to one of the Lit Club contributors. To be in the running, all you have to do is post a review or creative response on the Lit Club blog! Sounds good, right? FREE BOOKS!

But WAIT! First we need Discussion Leaders to be the core of the group. They will receive a FREE copy of the Lit Club book, and will be expected to post at least one review or creative response on the blog, plus be active in the comment section of other posts. They will receive support from Inky too. And did we mention the free book? This month we also have the authors keen to get involved too! So watch this space!

But first ! THE BIG REVEAL! The August-September Lit Club Book is…

The Girl who Fell by Violet Grace. This is book one in The Raven Chronicles Series. It’s high fantasy with a strong feminist message and we are going to have a ball discussing it!

So. Who is in?

Applications for Lit Club Discussion Leaders Now Closed.
