Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOZYA Stories Coming Out Party

Join us in celebrating the launch of Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOzYA Stories, the highly anticipated collection of new Australian LGBTQ+ fiction for young adult readers!

Hosted by Philmah Bocks, this coming out party will be a fantastic night of fun performances, bookish readings and queer merriment.

Wednesday 29 May 2019, 6:30pm at The Melba Spiegeltent 35 Johnston St, Collingwood VIC 3066

Eight of the anthology’s contributors will be in attendance: Jax Jacki Brown, Claire G. Coleman, Michael Earp, Alison Evans, Erin Gough, Omar Sakr, Marlee Jane Ward and Nevo Zisin. Hear them in conversation and get your books signed!

We’ll be joined by special guest Minus18, Australia’s largest youth-led network for LGBTQ+ youth. 10% of all book sales on the night will be donated to Minus18. Auslan interpreters will be provided and the event will be wheelchair accessible.

So many good names!: Michael Earp(He did a piece in Underdog), Erin Gough("Flywheel"), Omar Sakr(I think this is his first off piece? I loved his teaser paragraph though), Marlee Jane Ward("Psynode") and Nevo Zisin("Finding Nemo"). Can't wait!
