Inky's Fri-yay April 26

Okay so we survived Easter like this….

And seemingly never-ending holidays like this…

But it’s OKAY! We have each other…and BOOKS! So many bookish things to share. There’s the Sydney Writers Festival and not one, but TWO international authors to see in Melbourne – Inky longlisted Dhonielle Clayton AND 2018 Inky shortlisted Mackenzi Lee. And speaking of Inky Awards, the shadow judges have been busy reading and posting reviews HERE on the Inky Awards Blog. Are you reading the longlist too?

We continue our weekly guest post from self confessed bookaholic Emily Mead and wordsofmaha has listed and reviewed her holiday reads on Book Lover Fun there’s a Nevermoor review which may spark discussions and sylvs gives us three new reviews on NOVELty.

Still need some book recommendations? Well you guys have covered that too! More LGBT recommendations from Loquacious Ladybird, guest post from the YA room’s Sarah Robinson-Hatch tells us who are her auto-buy authors and Tanzeem has links to a new release book giveaway.

And finally, if, even after all of that, you are bored then fairytailqueenxx has got you covered.

And why not check out chelcyg’s playlists  – 70’s bops and 80’s bangers!

Have a great bookish weekend everyone!

Thanks to chelcyg’s reminder, I know what I will be watching!
