When I wrote my book Laurinda I was interested in the ways in which teenagers can wield power over other teenagers - and some adults. You may have had an experience at school where a slight vulnerability in a teacher or classmate made them the butt of jokes, the scapegoat, or just gave others the green light to overlook nasty things being done to them. Like me, you may have been a spectator and only later realised how you allowed certain things to go on. I would be very interested in your own experiences of ‘mean girl’ (or boy) dynamics at school.
