Fitzroy Writers Festival

This Saturday, April 6, Yarra Libraries is holding the Fitzroy Writers Festival – a FREE event at the Fitzroy Town Hall.

Appearing at the festival are two award winning LoveOzYA authors Marlee Jane Ward and Alison Evans discussing gender diversity in YA. Both are winners of the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and both have released powerful follow-up novels. They talk about their work in relation to their themes, gender diverse YA characters and dystopian futures, with short readings from their books included.
