Eight Beautiful Bookstagram Accounts You Need to Follow

Guest post: Jananee Sundarakumar

If you’re anything like me, you probably spend a disproportionate amount of your day scrolling aimlessly through your Instagram feed. While I love shots of cute puppies and Nutella-covered confections as much as the next person, what I love seeing the most on my Instagram feed are books. The world of book-themed Instagram accounts is not only fantastically pleasing to the eye but also an incredibly useful source for choosing your next read – so, if you’re new to the concept of “Bookstagram” or are merely looking for some bookish eye candy to devour, here are eight accounts I can’t get enough of!

  1. @Bookmarauder

With a wonderfully curated feed and a downright envious book collection, Mara’s Bookstagram is one that legends are made of. Follow for beautifully filtered photos, great book recommendations and Funko Pops galore!

  1. @Emilyjmead

There’s no other way to put this, Emily is the queen of rainbow books and pastel gradients – her feed is a mix of clean whites and pops of colour and is so absolutely pleasing to the eye. Follow for cute kittens, a drool-worthy hardcover collection and your next favourite read!

  1. @Booksthetics

A mixtures of books, nature and a whole lot of cosy, Nani’s Bookstagram will leave you lost for words. Follow for absolutely stunning photography, beautiful bookish close ups and someone to fangirl about The Young Elites with!

  1. @Alittlebookworld

With one of the prettiest feeds I’ve ever had the pleasure of setting my eyes on, Anna’s Bookstagram is all kinds of magic. Follow for an effortless combination of rainbow stacks, fairy lights and cosy layouts!

  1. @booknerd_reads

If flat-lays are more your style, then don’t worry – Jill has you covered. With a knack for knowing how to style the perfect photo, Jill’s feed is the Bookstagram version of a cup of tea and a warm hug. Follow for great book recommendations, journaling inspiration and photos to fall in love with!
