‘Surviving High School’ was written by Lele Pons and published by Simon and Schuster UK Ltd in 2016. The book begins when Lele is starting at her new high school, without friends and followers on the social media app Vine. She was just like any other high school girl, except that in one year she went from zero followers to ten Million. The whole book talks about how she gained popularity and all the problems she had while becoming an internet superstar. The book gives you a chance to just imagine all the hilarious and weird things she did.

I’ve been waiting to read this book for a while, once I started I couldn’t stop. It was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. It’s amazing to see how Lele Pons was before she became famous. She was just an ordinary girl like me! I loved the parts where she told us about all the embarrassing things she did to make a vine but I didn’t really like how she finished the book because in my opinion she should make a sequel talking about her life now and how she deals with fame after a bit of practice.

I would definitely recommend this book to others as it is humorous and relatable sometimes and in some cases could be helpful in the future. I think people who like funny and self-deprecating books. I think Lele wrote this book because she wanted to show the audience that even the people with the worst luck can still make a difference. She shows her readers all the things she went through so others can relate. ‘Surviving high school’ was probably written for people between the ages of 9 and 17 because that was around the age she was and that is what happens for most kids during high school.
