Title: Matilda

Author: Roald Dahl

Genre: 60% Fantasy 40% Drama

I recommend this book to anyone looking for something that you can read out loud with expression, wants a bit of dramatic, shocking events, loves Roald Dahl, enjoys a decent laugh, and likes books with peculiar, crazy, never going to happen events, but at the same time it can get a little sad and serious. Overall this book is a very interesting book!! This book suits 7-11 year olds as it is a book including magic powers and Roald Dahl is an amazing childrens books author. I give this book a 5 star rating! *****

Matilda

Matilda is a family book, it's about a girl named "Matilda" with magic powers and gets treated with disrespect. I love how she gets treated kindly from her teacher and her friends. In the end she gets adopted by her teacher Miss. Honey a lovely lady who adores all of her students. I really love this book!

An exciting book filled with humour and a little amount of mystery. A book with many pranks and cons, but a children book written by Roald Dahl. It's a book that would suit the age group between 8 to 12 years old. This books title is ' Matilda '.

Matilda is a five year old girl. Which has a ten year old brother named Michael. A dad named Harry and a mum named Zinnia. Matilda's parents don't care about Matilda's education and doesn't want her to read any books. All they what is the tv to be on, all day, everyday.

Matilda finds something unique in her life and meets some externally special people, but at one point in the story there is a strong, fierce woman. This woman is extremely mean, especially to children. People might say that she's scared of them but I think she's not. What will this woman do? Is there anyone to save these children? Who? Why?

I extremely enjoyed the knowledge of Matilda and the way she can do many special things. I enjoy how author made this book, with many different thoughts. My favourite part of the book was when one of Matilda's friend at school was forced to eat a massive, rich, chocolate cake. When Matilda showed that she was supporting him, everyone join in cheering his name so he could finish the cake. Something I learn was, if one person is supportive and sticks up for someone, most times people join in. So stick up to bullies or maybe even mean, strong, ugly, women.
