From the Holocaust to Hogan's Heroes: The Autobiography of Robert Clary

Printer-friendly version
Author:  Robert Clary

Robert Clary is known worldwide for his portrayal of the spirited Corporal Louis LeBeau on the popular television show Hogan's Heroes from 1965 to 1971. It is Clary's experience as a Jew during the Holocaust that infuse his compelling memoir with an honest recognition of life's often horrific reality, a recognition that encounters his glittering fifty-year career as an actor, singer, and artist and distinguishes this book from those by other entertainers.

I won't go into detail, but I will say that this book is amazing and definitely worth a read. Robert Clary remembers in such detail and is so bluntly honest about all of his experiences throughout his life.
