This is a great book that has managed to conjure up a rich world of imagination. It's ability to reflect upon a life changing event is truly unique. This same story could be written in a very sad way but instead creates a real appreciation of every moment of life for what it is and what it can be. (Better than the movie)

Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson is a great book that will bring you great joy and lots of sadness. In the story, Jess Aarons makes friends with his new neighour Leslie Bourke. Leslie inspires Jess to do what he wangs and gives him lots of courage. One day, with the help of their imagination, they discover a mysterious world which you can only get to by a rope bridge that hangs over water. Leslie and Jess are the King and Queen of this land that they name Terabithia. The sadness comes in when one day, Jess goes to a museum with his favourite teacher without Leslie. When he gets home he is overwhelmed with news of something that happened to her.

Although this book will make you cry, it is an amazing adventure book and relly shows you how far you can get with an open mind and a wide imaginaton. I recommend this book to everyone if your looking for a short but interesting read.
