This book is a great book. I rate it a 5 stars out of 5. I think that it is appropriate for kids and adults as well.

The story is set out in a school. The Main Character in the book is Greg Heffley, he is a boy that is going to middle school. My favourite character in the story is Greg's best friend because he is always embarrassing to Greg and still acts like a kid. The major problem in the book is that Greg wants to become a popular kid but he keeps on failing, he's friend Rowley always ends up as the popular one and at the end of the book Rowley was forced to eat the cheese. At this time Greg and Rowley were not friends. Of course no one knew what happened to the cheese for a long time, until Greg spoke up, he said that he got sick of the cheese and that he threw it away. Of course he had the cheese touch and everyone hated him and he was the most unpopular kid in the school. But at least he got his friend back because after that Rowley and Greg were Best Friends again. I feel that the end of the book is really sad because no one likes Greg when he was just sticking up for his friend. But the only person that knows that is Rowley.

I think that anyone that reads this book will enjoy it because it is written for audiences of all ages. But I recommend this book mostly for Year 7's and 8's. I have and will keep reading books by this author, and I am planning to finish the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series. :)
