it is a story about a couple called jenny and john. John suprises Jenny with with a labrador puppy. when they get in the car a bob marley song comes on and the puppy starts barking and jumping around so they end up calling the puppy marley. A few years pass and marley starts to get more excited and jumpy when he see people. Jenny and up having 3 children. two boy and one girl.
Marley & Me, a tale of a couple embarking on the adventure of marriage, career, family, and the world's worst dog. At least that's how writer John comes to describe his blonde lab, Marley, when he takes the puppy home and finds that the fluff-ball has an uncanny ability to eat and/or destroy just about anything. As years go by, John and his wife, Jennifer, contemplate having babies and moving across the country, while Marley grows into 100 lbs. of funny, wild, completely untrainable canine companionship -- as well as one of the most important people in the family. Marley & Me is based on the best-selling autobiographical book by columnist John Grogan. i would recommend this book for 8 year olds and up. i give this book a 10/10
The book that I have read lately is a book called Skellig which is written by David Almond, in 1998 and is a book about mysteries and adventures.This book is about a boy called Michael who has a normal and boring life, then when he stumbles upon a man called Skellig sitting in the corner of his garage, his life changes for the better. He has a baby sister who has a serious heart condition and his new friend Mina who is home schooled and loves to draw birds. Michael also has two friends called Leakey and Coot who like to play games with Michael. Very slowly, Skellig eventually shows Mina and Michael his wings that are sitting upon his shoulder blades. They were excited and wanted to know who skellig was. Is he an owl, an angel or is he just a normal human. I thought Skellig was an interesting book. It didn’t appeal to me at the start but as the book went on, I started to enjoy it more. I would recommend this book from ages 9 – 13. I would rate this book 4/5.
