The Summer I turned Pretty is a captivating book for young teenagers.

Belly spends every summer at the same beach house with her mother, her brother and her mothers best friend and her family. Conrad and Jeremiah are the boys in that family and Conrad is the one she has been in love with forever but Jeremiah is the olny one who has ever noticed her. But this summer is different, suddenly she is being noiced by everyone.

This story is full of love, laugh and tears and is perfect for a holiday read. This book is great for people who like 'The sisterhood of the travelling pants' and the Sarah Dessen books.
