Soul surfer,
The message I took from this book was how brave and amazing the characters are, it’s also a biography so knowing that it had actually happened made it even more interesting to read.
I would recommend this book to others because it’s a type of book you can’t stop reading. I don’t really enjoy reading but the book Soul Surfer drew my attention, there are so many emotions you have through out reading this book.
The big idea or theme of this book is about a young girl having a massive down side in her life that almost wrecks her carrier, she becomes famous and one of the most known person. There was even a movie about her massive accident, which made her even more famous with lots of interviews.
The most developed character in the book is a young girl called Bethany Hamilton as well as her strong family, Her qualities she has are how determined she is and certain about everything, her family qualities are being loving, caring and also very supportive.
In one of her interviews she says a very famous type of quote. Interviewer, “Bethany, do you ever think you’ll be able to surf again?” Bethany, “think? I know I’ll surf again.” This was an amazing interview just because of what she said.
Bethany Got a whole bunch of fan mail and one of the letters she received made her feel very special, It was about a young boy with only one leg. Letter, “You inspired me so I tried out for the school soccer team.”
“Sometimes bad things happened to us for a reason” Said by Bethany’s teacher.
The Scariest part of the book is how she describes her attack, its very frightening.
You will have to read the book to find more information, its very detailed and an amazing story.

Sole surf is a true story about a girl that was surfing one day and a shark bit her arm. She had to get it amputated and was really sad so she stopped surfing. Eventually she got back on her board and was winning all of her competitions.
My favourite part of the book is when she does not give up. This is a really inspiring story.
I think this book is the best book ever.

this book is about a girl that loved surfing and she went out to go surfing and she got in the water and started paddling out and a shark came out and had bit her arm off.i loved this book but it was very sad.it is very scary that this is a true story.It puts me into tears.

I found this book was really well written and inspirational. She is a role model not just in the way that she was resilient but in the way she trusted God to guide her through a very difficult time. I always think of her when I am praying and I think that all people should be more like her. The book is a great read and I thoroughly encourage children my age and older to read this. Her book really talks about how she came from a pro sufer to losing her arm and then to an award wining sufer with only one arm. I certainly couldn't do that. This book is a great read and it will inspire you alot.

I really enjoyed this book!! It was a really inspirational read! It was a inspirational book about faith, and believing in God and yourself! I believe this book will inspire many people to do great things in their lives.
Bethany Hamilton was only 13 when she got attacked by a shark while she was surfing. Less than a month after the attack she was back on her board, and is now a proffesional surfer!
