Aria, Emily, Spencer, Hanna and Alison have been best friends since the third grade. They go everywhere together, thinking no-one can come between them. Pretty Little Liars is a confronting and thought-provoking novel written by the American writer Sara Shepard. The book is set in a contemporary American school and at their houses and it tells us about four junior girls Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna.
The novel begins with five girls Spencer, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Alison in Spencer's barn sleeping over but they find out that their friend Alison is missing.
Spencer covets her sister's boyfriend. Aria fantasizes about her English teacher. Emily has a crush on the new girl at school and is using some ugly tricks to stay beautiful. But there is an even bigger secret since their friend Alison vanished. When all this is happening they begin to receive messages with the initial A on them. Is Alison back? Read to find out. While the you are reading you are drawn to the book and can't stop reading.
This novel has a powerful message behind it and that is to never go outside alone at night. This book is recommended for teenagers and adults because it is a well structured book with complex sentences and language and also has no illustrations for a little child. This book is in a series so you will always have something to read.

Pretty little liars
Pretty little liars is written by Sara Shepard, this book is also a major television series that is global, it's Ian a drama and crime book. This all begin in a small town with 5 friends, Alison, Emily, aria, Hannah and spencer. One night when spencer and Alison had a fight, Alison stormed off. The next day Alison wasn't found any where, so the police declared her to be missing. After 3 months went by the police stop searching for her proclaiming she was dead and her parents moved away. The 4 girls are now split up. That was until one day the girls start receiving threat messages with -A at the end. This secret person or people on the other side of the phone wanted them to be gone. This story is a story of surviving the traumatic experience of the disappearance of a friend as well as threat messages from someone that the girls have no clue of.
This book is mostly rated for teenagers as it is a drama and crime book. The language in this book is not very appropriate for children under 10. I personally give this book a 4 put of 5 ecause of its coarse language, rude words and bad language.

Pretty Little Liars is a great book if you like murder mysteries and puzzles :) This book makes you never want to stop reading, you are just so intrigued its so hard to put the book down! As soon as i finished the first book, i knew that the next one would be fantastic as well, so later that day i got the second book in the series! ITS GREAT !
