I think that Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief is a fascinating and imaginative book and I was pulled in from the start. Right now I am halfway through it and I can't wait for the rest of it. If you love Myth, Action, Survival this is the best book for you. It is even the first of 6 books in a series, so you will still have more Percy Jackson. Even though I have watched the movie I love the book more than the movie.

A all round great book with the exception of the plot. I found the plot very basic and that it was the only downfall of an otherwise great book.

This book is a long and maybe confusining to people that does not know greek mithogly but is worth all the time, If your new pecy jackson is the son of pisidon and is a demy god and has been acused for stealing Zues's Lightning Bolt. When you read this it is truely a one great big journey.
