Matched

I think Matched is a really great book it kept me hooked the hole time and was entertaining until the very end. This book is great if you like futuristic/dystopian/romances. I rated this a four out of five because it is as good as other dystopian novels like the Hunger Games Trilogy and the Gone series.

Revew:
I realy enjoyed this book and its sequels. they have a very engaging story line and its a serious page turner. Its about a 17 year old girl named Cassia who lives in the society, the sosiety controls every ones lifes, there is no choice. When she finds out who her match is and who her husband will be, at first he is perfect but she soon realises her love for another. The books are basicly about her trying to get with the one she loves (Ky). the down falls of the book is that the romance is very, very, very, very mild. When Cassia finnaly takes that long awaited kiss you have been waiting for, you barely even know it even hapened (i'm 13 and even i felt it was lacking the romance out of a romance book), thas why its aporopriate for young readers. I wouldnt let that small flaw turn you off though its a great read and i would recomend it to all my friends.

Thanks For Reading!

Watched By Society, Trapped By Rules, Freed By Love?

'Matched' is a very different book. You could say it is a love story but it isn't even that.

I loved 'Matched' it took me a little while to get into it but after I got into it I couldn't put it down. I was reading it on the bus, at lunch, in class and even walking around home.

I think that Cassia should get together with Ky, even though she was matched with her best friend. This book is really different and it is also like 'The Hunger Games'. In that the public are controlled by peolple that are higher than them and they have to do what they say.

'Matched' is a trilogy with 'Crossed' and 'Reached' following behind.

Matched is a story about a society where someone else pairs you up. You haven't a choice but to comply. Cassia was lucky; she got paired up with her best friend, and usually girls would be paired up with guys whom they never even met nor seen before. Everyone believes that they are perfect for each other, and that they fit each other like a puzzle. But she starts having doubts when she meets this mysterious boy.

Matched was good but slow in places. Also, I thought the writing was a bit ...  cold in places. Dont really know how to describe it but still, it was an amazing idea that people live in such a controlled society, right to the point where they are actually told who they will be matched with for life. So I wanted to keep reading to see what would happen. I'm not running to read the next one but I will eventually, as I am a big fan of dystopia and books where you ask what if?
