This is a lovely story which I found at my Nanna's house while I was staying at her house and I began reading. It was a story that stayed with me because of its great descriptive language and captivating. I read in a week because it was so intriguing. Absolutely LOVED it!!!!!!

This is a marvellous book about a little Swiss girl with no parents. It tells about how, first, she comes to live on the Alm, and then in Frankfurt, how she goes to school, makes friends and family. The story of an adventurous and always merry little girl is a kind and happy story, a great one to read!
