SOME ANGELS ARE DESTINED TO FALL.
Instant. Intense. Weirdly familiar . . .
The moment Luce looks at Daniel she knows she has never felt like this before. Except that she can’t shake the feeling that she has. And with him – a boy she doesn’t ever remember setting eyes on.
Will her attempt to find out why enlighten her – or destroy her?
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, FALLEN is a thrilling story about forbidden love.
I love this book so much. It is forbidden love and fantasy because there is Angels in it and i like angels. The characters in this book are potrayed very well and you can imagine what is happening in the book.
Luce, short for Lucinda, arrives at the Sword&Cross Mental Institute. It has high fences and cameras on each corridor like a maximum security prison. Lucinda gives up her only connection to the outside world, her cellphone, as other kids hand over lighters and knifes.
She watches others, and wonders. I'm not mad. I'm telling the truth. Lucinda has a feeling the shadows follow her. They have since she was a child. Only the more she explains, the crazier she sounds. So she stopped explaining. But she tried to tell him, Trevor...
One moment they were dancing and enjoying the party - next minute she wakes up, and everythings on fire, and he's dead.
She was accused for killing Trevor. No-one defended her. So now she was in this four walled prison. Arriane gives her the tour. All four walls, classrooms, dorm. Expect a break? None. No holidays.
She explains that the students with mechanical armbands are more trouble, so stay away. Except, Arriane has one.
After the tour they stop to rest. That is when he catches her eye. Daniel. The quiet persona kinda guy. Who flips her off and ignores her. Except she is drawn to him. And she doesn't know why.
This is when the shadows come back. And this time their out for her...
