Diary of a wimpy kid "The Ugly Truth" is all about growing up and what it is like to become a mature person. Through the book Greg (The main character) and his best friend Rowley have a relationship problem and all the bad things happen from there.

Now that their friendship is history, Greg's in the market for a new best friend, but they have odd chances of getting together again because for the past few weeks Rowley's been hanging out with a teenager named Brian.

This book is very funny and the illustrations make the jokes even more funnier. Will Rowley and Greg become friends again? Find out in Jeff Kinney's hilarious 5th book in the series, 'The Ugly Truth'
