Darkness be my friend is the 4th book in the tomorrow series. This book is about a group of average teenagers from Wirrawee. They have to fight against soldiers for their and their town’s freedom. The teenagers team up with New Zealand soldiers, but when the soldiers go missing on an important mission the teenagers are on their own again.
This book has two themes, friendship and teamwork. The teenagers are all friends, and with the war being on they all become very close friends. The other theme is teamwork . Teamwork is one of the themes because the teenagers all have to work as a team to plan how they are going to sabotage the enemy , then they have to work together to pull off the plans. When the group is hiding out they need someone on sentry duty then if the enemy is coming they have to escape. They have to make a quick escape so they have to work together to escape.
I think you should read this book because it is an action-packed, thrilling and suspenseful story about a group of average teenagers fighting for survival. I rate this book 4 out of 5.
