Two Lives, Two Hearts- But Only One Is Working
Dani was born with her heart on the wrong side of her body. In her fifteen years of life, she’s had more doctor’s appointments, X-rays, and tests, and eaten more green hospital Jell-O than she cares to think about. Fourteen-year-old Amanda is a competitive gymnast, her body a small package of sleek muscles, in perfect health.
The two girls don’t know each other, don’t go to the same school, don’t have any friends in common.
But their lives are about to collide.
Dani was born with her heart on the wrong side of her body and is in need of a new heart. The doctors wouldn't allow her to have an operation until Dani reached the age of fifteen. During her fifteen year of living a unique life with having many questions and answers to keep in mind, Dani finally turns the appropriate age for this operation.
Amanda is a fourteen-year-old gymnast, with perfect health and is full of talent and is a package of pure muscle. Just the slightest mistake can make a significant impact on many peoples' lives. The two girls live two completely different lives, but now they are one.
