Insanely fantastic, Pierce creates a world you can really get lost in. The characters were awesome - Beka's amazing!! - and the roles and rules of the setting are so realistic and unique and crazy at the same time. Pigeons! PIGEONS! And their restless spirits. And a cat with purple eyes called Pounce. Is that not enough? The adventure is thrilling, the plot is addicting, the characters are charming, and all in all it's the perfect story to get dragged into.
