It's about an old woman, who immersed herself in stories when she was young.

She tells a story of her own past to a 16-year-old girl, who comes into the nursing home for research.

This book is wonderfully written, delving into the old woman's past and present times.

It explores several relationships; cleverly done, weaving love and trust among them.
