Angels and Demons

By Dan Brown

Angels and Demons is a great book for older readers if you’re looking for an action packed race against time, then this is a great book for you.

Angels and Demons is about a Harvard Lecturer named Robert Langdon called to help with a murder at CERN in Switzerland. The Scientist that was killed had been working on an antimatter project. When Robert goes to find the antimatter he finds it has been stolen. The antimatter can’t touch matter otherwise it would create an explosion bigger than a nuclear bomb. The antimatter container runs out of batteries after 24 hours. The race against time is even more drastic seeing the antimatter has been placed under the Vatican City………

This book hooked me from the very start. It also was very factual. It included maps of Rome and the Vatican City. The locations used were also real.

This book is the 2nd in the Robert Langdon Series by Dan Brown.

I rate this book a 5/5 :)

My absolutely favourite one yet! This story was terrifyingly wonderful, gory, gripping. Each chapter has a new twist, a new turn, and constantly keeps you guessing. The drama, death, action never seems to end. With an interesting setting and a wonderful storyline, .... gosh, it's just so good, READ IT!

You should read this book because they are many exciting twist and it is very tense. The book is well written and you are able to understand what he is writing. You feel as though the story is real. The problem though is that the chapters alternating between the assasin and Langdon gets confusing. The book is about never giving up on difficult tasks, such as getting locked in an oxygenless vault, finding a bomb that can't be found and solving difficult puzzles.
