After the first book which was great it was a pretty big disappointment. This book was most likly only written to make more money for mr jeff kinney who also helped creat the diasterous Diary of A wimpy kid movie series which was worse than this book.
this book is awesome i think rodrick needs to be nicer to greg, but it is still awesome!

Rodrick is such a pain! Greg thinks.
This is a really funny book how Greg and Rodrick cannot get along and they lead to lots of trouble. But their mum thinks that they should learn how to get along. Will Greg and Rodrick learn how to co-operate with each other? Or will they start a mini war???
I really love reading it becouse it is so funny and full of PRANKS and this story is also cool...
Diary of a wimpy kid rodrick rules
The story takes place in america. The main chracters are Rodrick, Greg, Rowely, Manny, and greg parents. my favuirate chracters are Rodrick Greg and Rowely because thet are really funny in the book and thats what makes me enjoy the book.
The major problem is that that rodrick and greg hate each other. and gregs parents for a holiday for the weekend and gregs parents say that you dont invite any friends. but anyways rodrick invites all his friends and Rodrick says to greg get somthing from the basement and then Rodrick locks him out and then gregs parents call rodrick and greg was on the phone to from the basement and then rodrick let him in so they started taking photos so they fall a slept then there parents leave a message saying they well be caming in one hour then they make a massive clean up. and greg and rodrick became best mates because greg didt tell his mum the door had graffiti but he did tell his me that the door had graffti but he told his mum that dont tell rodrick so they hang around. But then after a while rodrick finds out and kills greg but then greg makes Rodrick perform at the conset the they became best mates again.
Tge themes of the book are rodrick and greg ecaming best friends and became enimes and then best friends again
