To me, this book is overrated. The story line is mildly fascinating but the way in which it is written is poor. The wording is very simple and not many adjectives are used. This book could be great, if they could expand on it some more.
its the best book ive have read it im up to eclipse and its way better than the movie
Bella has just moved to Forks to live with her dad becuase she is sick of her mother's life and wants to be a teenager again.
Bella makes friends immediately and is finally confident with herself, untill she meets Edward. They are immediately paired together in Science but Edward cannot sit close to her because of how strong Bella's blood smell is.
What will happen?
this book was okay, but its highly over rated. it makes you want to vomit in some parts because lovey-dovey teens are soooo in love and they cant resit each other. people who like this book should try something with a bit more taste and independace. if there was another book in the series, i would probably read it, but i think that overall, it is a bit too stretched out and long, and people would prefer something more short and sharp.
This book is really good I really liked it.
It is really adventures, like the movie
and really interesting to read.
I would suggest that people read
this book because they will go on
an adventure. :)
Twilight is a fantastic book that you can't put down. It all starts with an ordinary 17 year old girl named Bella who's parents are divorced. She has to stay with her father for a bit in forks. Forks Is a country in Washington where it rains all the time. Bella gets in a lot of trouble with vampires and her family. This book is great with parts that will put you on the edge of your seat! I don't wont to spoil it so, have a great time reading it!
Twilight is told by 17-year-old Bella Swan, who moves from Phoenix to the small town of Forks, Washington, to live with her dad for the remainder of high school. There, she meets Edward Cullen and his family, who possess an other-worldly and irresistible beauty and grace to which Bella is drawn. Twilight is the tale of Bella and Edward's burgeoning relationship, brimming with standard teenage drama alongside the unexpected, because, after all, Edward and his family are vampires. These undead friends have chosen to deny their urge to drink human blood, instead slaking their thirst with the blood of animals. Bella soon finds out, however, that not all vampires in her life are constrained by such scruples.
The book has been praised for its treatment of sexuality and morality. Although there's plenty of yearning and sensuality, there is no sex, drinking, or drug use. Edward refuses Bella's desire to be turned into a vampire herself, on grounds that it wouldn't be the right thing to do.
Twilight is an easy and enjoyable read. Its first-person viewpoint keeps the the pages turning. This isn't a masterpiece of literary achievement, however. You have to take it for what it is –- a unique and entertaining, if not flawlessly written, story. Twilight will almost certainly appeal to teenage girls and many women of all ages, but probably not to the majority of males. It's sure to make readers eager to devour the next three novels.
This book was good. The language used in it was great, but I didn't really enjoy the way they describe the feelings. It didn't describe how they fell in love, it just said they were in love and then started describing the feelings (when Bella got back from the restaurant). I didn't remember that well, but I know this book wasn't very exciting for me at all. I only read it because it's very popular, I guess. Anyways, I would recommended it to people who believe they are mature enough to understand this book and the entire series (Twilight, New Moon, Ecilpse and Breaking Dawn).
Sorry if I should have used a spoiler, but I don't think that it was necessary.
I absoloutley love this book, and have read the whole series 9 times!!!! I think that it is a classic love story with a wicked twist!!!! Definetly reccomend it!!!
iv red this book like 5 times now and i love it i can put together every thing with the movie and as im reading i see in my mind the part of the movie to i love this book :)
