This was an amazing book! I loved the plot, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Suzanne Collins did an amazing job, I really want to see it as a movie.

I would recommend this book to absolutely every mature reader over the age of 10.

An amazing book. There really isn't that much more to say about it.

I would say this book is for 10-17 year olds, but other age groups might enjoy reading it.

I originally read the book because of all the hype leading up to the new movie and it was a bit of a let-down. It was not the best written, unoriginal and it made all the violence very... glossy. The worst part had to be the part where the red head died due to the berrys. If the berries were a, be the fact that if they were so comon and she was so smart then why didn't she take them off the trees instead of risking her life to steal them off Katnis and be why didn't anyone else die of poisoning if sKatnis only knew they were poisonous because she went hunting? Hunting is illegal in the country and why would any of the prepared tributes want to risk geting killed before it was '"their turn". It was a big disappointment

The hunger games series is full of adventure and world problems mixed into one exciting different world.

I loved it so much but would only recommend the books to mature children.

Hunger Games Book Review

Have you ever thought what it would be like to run out of food and have no money? What about having to put your name in a bucket, just so it might be pulled out to fight other children to the death for entertainment?

The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins is a novel that should be read by every student and should never be forgotten.

The love between the characters is an intense part of this book, as well as the challenge they take on in the cruel type of entertainment the Capitol calls fun.

“You call that a kiss? –H” the note says. This was just the beginning of Katniss and Peeta’s love for one another.

“Well, there, uh… There is this one girl I’ve had a crush on forever but I don’t think she noticed me until the reaping.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because she came here with me” This simple conversation between Peeta and Caesar explained Peetas love for Katniss. He was dearly in love with her and nothing could change it. The amazing and cherishable love between Katniss and Peeta is a part that Ms Collins creates a great atmosphere that draws you further and further into the book and entices you to read more. The joy and heartfelt love in the greatness of Ms Collins book is an enjoyable part of the book that makes it the most catching part of the hunger games.

“District 12: where you can starve yourself in safety” So life was already difficult in the beginning and it was a challenge.

“It’s a good show that’s all they want”

“There are 24 of us and only one comes out” This conversation between Peeta and Katniss shows that it will be a challenge to stay alive as neither of them wants to die but one of them may have to. The challenge that Peeta and Katniss take on is a challenge they will never forget they goes through the games watching everyone die and even kill a few people themselves will they win will they survive? This is the question you are constantly asking yourself throughout the book it makes it interesting and exciting it brings tension and hope. Ms Collins has portrayed this extremely well.

People may say that the book is not there first choice of read such as it may be predictable, corny and just plain silly well none of these reasons are true you say its corny we say its well-structured and portrayed by the characters. You say its corny I say that love could never be corny it is true and   thoughtful, and if you think it is silly you just don’t enjoy the likings of a good literature.

The hunger game is a novel that should be read by every student and should never be forgotten. Is true through many points and the love and challenges they take on are brilliant all these points put together are done well by the author and this book will never be forgotten. So what would you do if you were forced to fight to the death?

When 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers as tribute for the 74th anual Hunger Games to save her sister, Prim, her life changed forever. The Hunger Games is full of action, fighting and even a few shocking scenes. But will she survive? Well Prim thinks so, and there's much more to just the games, what with Nightlock at her side, she can do anything against the Capitol. I rate this 4/5
