Shift is a story about a young girl called Olive suffering by the loss of her father. She used to be-as she called, one of the 'toxic girls'. She was popular, beautiful and used to hang out with Katie. Now, shes changed and Katie is her new enemy. Out of the blue, a new girl by the name of 'Miranda' comes to school and rumor has it, that she's murdered her own parents. Olive believes there's something wrong with her. And she and her best-friend, set out to find what it is. The book was a little confusing at first but I loved how she clearly states her relationships with her family, ex-best friend, and some others. Throughout the book, I couldn't stop reading. It was exhilarating and a little scary, but overall this book was very enjoyable.
