File 9898In June we asked: if you spent two weeks with the Queen, what would you do? There were so many answers, ranging from the touching to the humourous, that we couldn't pick just one winner and have some special runner-up prizes. (We think the Queen would approve.)

The winning entry (for two books) was:

This is my dream come true. I regularly dream of spending some well deserved time with my queen of England. Oh how many things I would do! Let see, I would start with teaching the corgis to fetch for themselves because I’m sick of watching the butler run when the queen throws a stick, but I’m particularly amused by the face the corgis pull when the butler tries to lodge the stick in their mouths. Secondly, I have it on good authority that she really enjoys an Aussie pie with sauce and I can imagine spending a few afternoon teas stuffing our faces. We would go for a lesson in face painting and then spend a day doing each other’s faces and run around in her backyard dressed up as fairies. We would have a garden party and invite the queen’s children and some of the friends. We would play games like spin the bottle, hopscotch and pin the tail on Prince Charles. And as a real treat for her, I would ask her to take me to Paris in her private jet so that she could buy me the Eiffel tower.

And the still-so-good-we-couldn't-let-you-walk-away-empty-handed-so-we'll-give-you-one-book-each entries were:

If you spent two weeks with the Queen, what would you do? Firstly when I arrived I would thank her for letting me stay for two weeks. Next after I got settled in my large room, I would have to make her eat a hot dog without lifting her little finger. I would also play cricket with her and tell her teach her how to dance in the style of hip hop! Then I would like to  see her sing a rap! There is a lot of things I would like to do if I stayed with the Queen.
(Manners should always be rewarded.)

And Drive her mad.
(Thanks for the laugh!)

Congratulations! If one of these is your entry, we will be in touch.

Our July competition is up and running on the Win Stuff page - this month we want to know what would you do in the event of a zombie attack?
