Wanted: Inky Award Judges
We need four enthusiastic teens to be Inkys Judges!

No, sorry, you don't get one of these. But you do get to be instrumental in choosing who will!
An Inky Judge has to:
- Read all 20 longlisted books (which you get to keep), in the space of two months.
- Help choose a shortlist of 10 books, along with fellow judges James Moloney and Danielle Binks.
You must be:
- Under 20 years of age. (We also discourage students in years 11 and 12 from applying - we know it's difficult to balance being an Inky Judge with the study demands at this level.)
- In Australia.
Interested?
To apply, send an email to youthlit@slv.vic.gov.au with the subject line 'Inkys Judge' telling us:
- Your details - name, age, male/female, what grade you're in, which state/territory you live in;
- Why you want to be an Inkys Judge;
- Who your favourite author is, and why;
- How many books, on average, you read in a month.
Get your emails in by midnight on Sunday, 20 May!
Update (22/5/2012): Applications to be a teen Inky Judge have now closed - thank you to everyone who sent one in! All applicants will be contacted by the end of May. The successful applicants will be announced on 4 June.
So excited to be a judge! Woot (or should that be 'woof'!?) Thank you so much for having me :)
- Danielle
