Yep, nearly halfway through the month, and my breakthrough novel is looking more like a novella.  

Writing by the beach last weekend was a blast, and I steamed through ... wait for it ... 3000 or so words,  before being overtaken by two really amazing books written by other people. Sally Rippin's Angel Creek and Edward De Waal's The Hare with Amber Eyes.
