Happy Birthday, Inky!
If money and logic were not an issue, what would you give Inky for his first birthday?
I would give him a kiss and a holliday to the beach (Then again, The water'd... nevermind) and um... a sister! I dunno how but.. yeah!
First of all, Inky so pulls off the newspaper look, its suits him. Secondly, for his birthday I would give him a trip to Paris to meet some poodles, and if he were a guy, my phone number!!!

Inky is so lucky. He has even been published in the newspaper. They had in the Education Section of the Age, the "surf's up" section, where they post good websites... and insideadog was there... and guess who there was a picture of? Inky!!!

Inky needs the Gangsta coloring book (yes, such a thing does exist), some crayola markers, one of those wind up cars that can climb up walls and some silly putty. Best entertainment ever.
I'd buy him a pair of booties. Seems fitting for a one year old.
I'd give Inky as a birthday present, a book voucher, because then he'd be able to buy another book, to add to the collection of billions he already has...
Or, I'd buy him Silvertongue's services (from Inkspell) to read him into any book of his choice... making sure he had a raincoat first of course... we wouldn't want him becoming pulp in another world, now, would we?
And he can take Laura's lamp, in the form of a torch so he can read in the dark...

His own novel. I'd hire the best Authors in the world (like Scott Westerfield and Douglas Adams) to write it, and he'd be famous. I'd even revive dead authors, to make them book really great
